New Hampshire property tax benefits
Reviewed September 2026: qualifying permanent-and-total disability can receive a $700 annual credit, or $701-$5,000 if locally adopted. The optional credit replaces specified other veteran relief; it does not stack. Full exemption requires separate qualifying adapted-housing criteria. File PA-29 with your municipality; the regular April 15 deadline has passed, with limited discretionary late filing.
New Hampshire education benefits
Qualifying children of permanently totally disabled New Hampshire veterans may receive USNH undergraduate tuition relief. Guard and war-orphan programs have separate eligibility, applications and deadlines; approval is not automatic.
New Hampshire recreation benefits
Qualifying New Hampshire residents with total permanent service-connected disability may receive a perpetual fishing/hunting/archery license with a one-time $10 fee. The separate 80-99% lifetime discount depends on rating duration and agency review; trapping is not automatically included. Park day-use eligibility is separate and does not include camping.
