Service-connected? Don't pay for retraining
VR&E (Chapter 31) can fund your next career
Veteran Readiness & Employment pays for training, education, certifications, and employment support for veterans with a service-connected disability — separate from the GI Bill, and one of the most underused benefits in the VA. Eligibility generally runs 12 years from your separation or first rating. Check VR&E eligibility at VA.gov →
How It Works
Three Steps to a Federal Resume Draft
1
Upload Your Documents
Upload at least one real source document — VMET, existing resume, JST, evaluations, or award citations. LinkedIn can supplement your record, but it should not be the only source for a federal resume.
2
Add Your Target (Optional)
Paste a USAJOBS or job-posting link if you're targeting a specific role, so we can tailor your resume to match. No link? No problem — we'll still build a strong general resume.
3
Create and Review Your Draft
The beta workflow creates a draft from the source material you provide. Review every date, title, qualification, and accomplishment before using it.
Pro Tip — Maximize Your Resume
To get the strongest possible resume, also upload your last 2–3 performance evaluations (FITREP, CHIEFEVAL, NCOER) and any award citations. These contain the specific accomplishments and language that hiring panels look for. The more you give us, the better your resume.
Upload Your Documents
Federal or civilian — upload your records and we'll build a customized resume for you. All documents are processed securely and used only to build your resume.
