Registration, parking, and toll notes
No-Fee tier: full plate/registration waiver. Fee tier: reduced fee only. No statutory parking privilege tied to the plate — separate placard system applies.
No dedicated disabled-veteran toll program confirmed in Kentucky.
Kentucky property tax benefits
2025-2026: qualifying homestead relief removes up to $49,100 of assessed value, not that amount from the tax bill. File Form 62A350 with the county PVA by December 31. Service-connected totally disabled veterans have an annual-reapplication exception after approval; initial filing and reporting changes are still required.

Kentucky education benefits
Kentucky's tuition waiver supports eligible military families, not the veteran personally, at qualifying Kentucky public schools. Disability, survivor and POW/MIA routes have different residency, age and time rules. Apply to KDVA after school acceptance, then confirm the certificate and covered charges with the school.
Kentucky recreation benefits
Kentucky residents with 50%+ service-connected disability may buy the annual Disabled Sportsman's license, currently $12.68. Three-year disability authorization is not a three-year license. A separate 100% resident park-lodging benefit requires a park reservation.
