- Vacations For Veterans — historical lodging program. Current applications are not confirmed open: the provider still displays a 2015 closure notice. Its stated scope is Purple Heart recipients from the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns. Confirm availability directly before making plans or sharing documents.
