Free vehicle registration (one personal vehicle) — no registration/manufacturing/annual fee; ad valorem tax exemption on one vehicle.
Real program: DV plate holders are exempt from tolls on GA roads including I-85 Express Lanes and other state-operated toll routes. Register a Peach Pass at mypeachpass.com and link the DV plate for the exemption to apply.
Georgia property tax benefits
2026: eligible disabled veterans may exempt up to $126,526 of assessed homestead value; excess value remains taxable. Qualifying 100% total service-connected disability, individual unemployability or statutory loss/use and vision categories require county review. Use the county homestead office and confirm its notice-based filing window; not a $126,526 payment.

USG military tuition-differential waivers and campus VA certification may help eligible students. The former standalone combat-veteran mandatory-fee waiver was deleted; current military fee reductions are discretionary and require campus approval.
Georgia recreation benefits
September 2026 review: eligible Georgia veterans may receive one free one-year license after qualifying service and discharge. Disability licenses use separate certification and paid one- or three-year products. The 25% park discount requires an issued GDVS eligibility card; approval is not automatic.
