    Kansas property tax benefits

    September 2026 review: K-40SVR refunds a qualifying property-tax increase over a base year, not the whole bill. For claim year 2025, 50% or greater service-connected disability can qualify with household Kansas AGI of $58,041 or less and base-year home value of $350,000 or less. The April 15, 2026 deadline has passed; ask KDOR about documented good cause or the next cycle.

    Kansas education benefits

    Kansas Hero's waives eligible undergraduate tuition and required fees at Kansas public schools for qualifying military families and former POWs, subject to funding and a 10-semester aggregate limit. Annual application and supporting records are required. Military resident-tuition pricing is a separate campus process.
